Offered Classes
Basic Pistol Mini
This is a condensed Basic Pistol Class taught in conjunction with a CPL class on the same day to weed out class overlap. You still learn all material in both classes, you just don’t have to sit through it twice
A minimum of 25 rounds required. Rentals and rounds will be available if you do not have your own firearm. Class cost is $26. Cash and credit accepted. Payments made upon arrival.
CPL Class
Complies with section 5j of 1927 PA 372. Required by the state of MI to get your CPL license. MCRGO Certified class. Teaches one how to safely handle handguns and responsible methods for storing them in addition to CPL laws.
A minimum of 50 rounds required. Rentals and rounds will be available if you do not have your own firearm. Class cost is $126. Cash and credit accepted. Payments made upon arrival.
CPL Renewal
This class is a 3-hour class for those wishing to renew their CPL. Any law changes will be discussed, as well as shoot a few practice rounds. Non-NRA Certified class.
Shooting is not required if you have shot within the last six months, although, still encouraged. Class cost is $60. Cash, check, and credit accepted. Payments made upon arrival.
Advanced Pistol Class
Personal Protection outside the Home. Teaches one the skills needed to safely carry in your community. We will go potential real-life scenarios. Different drills will challenge your limits. Non-NRA Certified Class.
Class cost is $126, $101 if you are a prior student of mine. Cash and credit accepted. A minimum of 250 rounds required. A hip or purse holster required. Rentals available. Payments made upon arrival.
Women's & Girl's Self Defense
This class is a 9-hour class held on 3 days in 3 hour segments. This class teaches laws related to self defense, phycological and physical reactions, planning, basic martial arts defense (majority of the class), and so much more.
Active Threat Response
This 2-3hr class is certified by Blue Shield Tactical Systems. It teaches one how to appropriately respond to an active shooting scenario. It covers different options available under “run, hide, fight”. These three are broken down in detail and demonstrate options you may not have thought of.
Nerf shooting involved. No live fire. Children can take this class once mature enough to understand. Children cost $26, adults cost $52. Credit cards accepted. Payment made upon class confirmation.
RSO
Range Safety Officer. NRA Certified. Teaches one the essentials of supervising safe range shooting practices. Responsible for giving range commands, inspections, and catching firearms malfunctions.
Class cost is $176. Cash and credit accepted. This does not include NRA fees for getting your certification. Payments made upon arrival.
Basic Rifle Class
Teaches one the basics of owning, storing, and operating a rifle safely. Different rifles will be used and multiple shooting stances. Range rules and cleaning firearms will be taught as well. NRA Certified class.
A minimum of 150 rounds required. Rentals will be available. Class cost is $126. Cash, check, and credit accepted. Payments made upon arrival.
Basic Pistol Class
NRA Certified class. Teaches one the basic parts of handguns, how to shoot from multiple positions, storage techniques, and the proper attitude needed to carry out the actions above.
A minimum of 50 rounds required. Rentals and rounds will be available if you do not have your own firearm. Class cost is $101. Cash and credit accepted. Payments made upon arrival.

Practice Sessions
Clients who have previously taken a firearms class through LCFS are eligible to receive additional training in the form of practice sessions for $40.00. In these sections you will receive one-on-one instruction to either go over drills again or to work on areas you wish to improve. This is a great way to get better and stay sharp.
